Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at COBS Bread Bakery. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and sweet goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality baked goods.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Prepare special orders and ensure that all products meet established standards.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to a high standard.
- Attention to detail is essential to ensure the quality of our products.
- Hand-eye coordination is necessary for operating machinery and preparing food.
- Handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods are also required.
- Tight deadlines must be met to ensure timely delivery of products.
- A high level of accuracy is required to ensure that all products are prepared correctly.
- Client focus is essential to provide excellent customer service.
- Dependability and reliability are crucial to meet the demands of the bakery.
- Judgement and decision-making skills are necessary to ensure the quality of products.
- Team player with excellent communication skills is required to work effectively with colleagues.
