Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Tags Food & Gas. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing dough, batters, and icings according to recipes and special customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Draw up production schedules.
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
- Operate machinery.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
Work Environment:
- Permanent position.
- English language required.
- 30 to 44 hours per week.
