Job Title: Personal Lines Assist Specialist, Training and Compliance

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Personal Lines Assist Specialist, Training and Compliance. In this role, you will provide exceptional training, compliance, and operational support for our Personal Lines team.

About the Role
  • Provide ongoing support to our Personal Lines business units, including developing and delivering technical training content.
  • Collaborate with management and front-line employees to identify opportunities to improve workflows, implement new business processes, and best practices.
  • Manage internal government auto audit and general PL quality assurance processes, documentation, and procedures.
  • Conduct in-person government auto insurance, broker standards, and general procedural audits, identify any issues, prepare, and distribute audit finding reports, and recommend corrective action.
  • Travel to all offices to conduct training and in-person audits.
  • Collaborate with PL management and other subject matter experts to create, maintain, and store HUB's PL information, including guidelines, carrier changes, procedures, best practices, sales aids, and communications.
  • Communicate business changes to front-line employees, including sales, training, efficiencies, systems, etc.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a variety of Personal Lines roles, including a deep understanding of ICBC policies, sales, and administrative procedures.
  • Level 2 General Insurance License.
  • Experience working with a variety of Carrier Portals (ICBC, Auto & Residential) and EPIC.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience and passion in training and compliance.
  • Strong technical insurance knowledge of coverages.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in MS Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.
  • Must have access to a personal vehicle for business use.
  • CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM, or other industry designations considered an asset.
