Responsibilities

As a Physiotherapy Assistant Specialist at Active Health Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for assisting our licensed physical therapists in patient assessments, developing patient information materials, maintaining medication and pharmaceutical product inventories, administering tests and procedures, cleaning and maintaining equipment, planning physiotherapy programs, and maintaining clinical and progress reports.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Experience: 1-6 months
  • Skills:
    • Assisting health care professionals
    • Developing patient information materials
    • Inventory management
    • Equipment maintenance
    • Planning physiotherapy programs
