Job Title: Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Unitrak Corporation Limited. As a key member of our manufacturing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating precision machine tools to manufacture high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accuracy and precision in part production.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to meet specific requirements.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality parts.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding, with the ability to stand for extended periods and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to relocate for this position.
