Job Title: Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Unitrak Corporation Limited. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to understand production requirements.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance using precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and precision in work.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
