About the Role:

Marsh Canada is seeking a highly skilled Client Executive to join our Risk Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding a mid-sized book of business containing larger or nuanced accounts across various industries or specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for managed accounts, leveraging in-depth understanding of client needs, market trends, and internal product or service offerings.
  • Manage research efforts and analyses on relevant markets and industries to identify potential relationship needs, target new buyer hubs, and expand the book of business for the team and/or personal book of business.
  • Conduct robust analyses to create feasible and effective custom product solutions for new or existing personal accounts or complex team accounts, ensuring overall pricing and policy compliance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and support to ensure their risk management needs are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry professionals, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience as an insurance client executive.
  • Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Commercial and Damage license or Broker license as required by jurisdiction (RIBO, AMF, etc.), or ability to obtain one in 3 to 6 months.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and industry professionals.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
