Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a crew of experienced operators in the safe and efficient completion of asphalt milling projects
  • Manage crew members, ordering materials, supplies, and trucking as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Develop and implement effective safety procedures and training programs
  • Collaborate with direct supervisors and other employees to maintain a positive and respectful work environment
  • Perform a wide range of duties, including equipment operation, maintenance, and repair

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience operating Wirtgen cold milling equipment
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills in fast-paced, complex environments
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt milling procedures, including highway work and small-town tie-ins
  • Ability to work long hours, day and night shifts, and out-of-town assignments
  • Valid driver's license and a strong commitment to safety and accountability
