Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate financial transactions
  • Manage cash and maintain a secure and organized cash handling system
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient store operations
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and flexibility
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a retail store environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere. The role requires the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
