Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Aramark. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a register/POS system with accuracy and efficiency, handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs and providing a positive experience.
  • Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip, and make deposits as required.
  • Understand and adhere to Aramark's standards and policies, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
  • Stay knowledgeable about our products and services, assisting customers with their queries and processing transactions accurately.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure the store is stocked to the appropriate levels, replenishing items as needed and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Basic math and counting skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, taking initiative to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods, as required by the role.
