Job Summary:

You will be responsible for performing laundry services including cleaning and distributing linens to clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Properly sort, wash, and dry linens following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Fold, count, and stack linens to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Collect soiled linens and redistribute clean linens to designated areas.
  • Transport supplies, including clean and soiled linens, to storage and collection areas.
  • Routinely inspect linens for wear and tear, identifying damaged items and following standard operating procedures for disposal.
  • Maintain commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition.

Requirements:

  • Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry or equivalent combination of training and experience is an asset.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, linen press, and clothing labeler.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Physically able to carry out duties of the position.
