Your Opportunity:

Alberta Health Services is dedicated to enhancing care in the community, helping people be healthy, well, and independent in their homes and communities. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional support services in the homes of clients of all ages and stages of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess client needs and deliver appropriate therapeutic nursing services within professional practice standards.
  • Coordinate resources and establish goals for client delivery.
  • Evaluate outcomes and provide case management and direct client care that meets established clinical standards.
  • Act as a consultant on the team, providing clinical expertise and direction to other team members regarding client cases.
  • Participate in staff development and mentoring student clinical experiences.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
  • Palliative care experience and previous Continuing Care and/or geriatric experience are preferred.
