We are seeking a detail-oriented and vigilant Incident Reporting Security Operator to join our team at Allied Universal. As a key member of our security operations center, you will be responsible for maintaining security and safety by monitoring and reporting incidents, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and responding to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Global Alarm Monitoring: Monitor and respond to security alarms in a timely and effective manner.
- Threat Assessment: Conduct thorough threat assessments to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Incident Report-Writing: Write clear and concise incident reports to document security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Professional Email Correspondence: Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders through professional email correspondence.
- Monitor Cameras and Provide Access: Monitor security cameras and provide access to authorized personnel.
- Conduct Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of security systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Dispatch: Dispatch security personnel to respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a security operations center.
- At least 5 years of residency in Canada for site-specific security clearance.
- Open availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
- Valid Ontario Security License.
- Eligibility to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
