Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for repairs and maintenance services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, including advising on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the art of transport truck maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Red Seal Endorsement in Transport Truck Mechanic.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong client focus.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
