Job Description

We are seeking a Career Advancement Professional to join our team. This 15-month Emerging Leader program offers mentorship opportunities with various leaders across operations, sales, finance, human resources, and procurement. Upon completion, you will be poised to become an emerging talent within our growing organization in Operations, Finance, or Commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing an understanding of our products and materials
  • Learning process and flows of our yards and operations, including time with Ferrous and Shredder Departments
  • Overseeing feeder yard site management
  • Understanding our health and safety culture
  • Logistics: learning material transportation, dispatch, scaling, and equipment setup
  • Finance: contract processing, inventory analysis, month-end inventory process, and customer payments
  • Procurement: supplier strategies, vendor management, purchasing needs, and inventory management
  • Human Resources: onboarding, talent acquisition, succession planning, management training, compensation, and conflict resolution
  • Sales: customer interactions, relationship building, and account management

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate from a relevant University or college program
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; bilingualism is an asset
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability for occasional travel
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Capacity to work effectively in team and individual settings
