We are seeking an experienced PSW Instructor to join our team of professionals.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the PSW program, which is registered with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.

A comprehensive Instructor Manual provides courseware, resources, evaluations, and daily lesson plans.

The Instructor's primary focus will be on hands-on training, emphasizing professional conduct and excellence in classroom instruction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly demonstrate knowledge of the field
  • Utilize pre-authorized materials to instruct curriculum
  • Implement diverse teaching strategies, including lectures, presentations, demonstrations, and discussions
  • Communicate subject matter effectively to students with varying backgrounds and needs
  • Administer and evaluate assessments, ensuring fair and consistent student progress
  • Provide timely feedback on student performance
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure classrooms are left in a clean and orderly state
  • Support the admissions team by addressing potential students' inquiries about the program or future career opportunities
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and events, such as graduation
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to student privacy guidelines
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in the subject matter
  • Promote teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Perform other related duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, adapting to different learning styles
  • Professional attire and interpersonal skills, serving as a role model and mentor
  • Experience with online teaching (training provided)

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. CIMT College also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage.
