Laundry Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Laundry Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our laundry department at Crest Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units, ensuring the quality and production levels of our laundry services, and supervising the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure the efficient operation of our laundry equipment.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction with our laundry services.
- Be the point of contact for emergency situations, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to our operations.
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor quality and production levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Oversee the cleaning of specialty and difficult items, ensuring they are handled with care and attention to detail.
- Prepare and submit progress and other reports, providing valuable insights into our laundry operations.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring we have the necessary resources to maintain high standards.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
- Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Wash or dry-clean industrial or household articles, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring our laundry operations run smoothly and efficiently.
