Job Summary

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Elementary Education Specialist to join our team as a Part-Time Teacher/Tutor. As an Elementary Education Specialist, you will work directly with students in a supportive and engaging environment, helping them develop their academic skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and support students in a one-on-one setting, focusing on elementary-level subjects such as language arts, mathematics, and social studies.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, using our proprietary methodologies and philosophies to ensure student success.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in elementary education.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Elementary Education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student success.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including evenings and weekends.
