Part-Time Elementary Teacher/Tutor Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time teacher-tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. as an Elementary Education Specialist. In this role, you will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach, providing personalized support and guidance to help them succeed in all subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching up to 3 to 4 students at a time at different levels
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 9 curriculum
  • French an asset

Salary: $18.50 / hour
