Join Our Team as a Technology Lead for AI and ML

Critical Mass is seeking a highly skilled Technology Lead with expertise in full-stack development and experience in generative AI/ML. As a key member of our growing team, you will collaborate with various departments to deliver exceptional integrated experiences. Your technical leadership will guide all aspects of client work, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the rapidly evolving AI and ML space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver innovative experiences
  • Work closely with project delivery to gather requirements, define technical scope, and estimate effort
  • Lead code reviews to enforce best practices for a global brand
  • Provide hands-on support and mentorship for the team
  • Discuss and explain technical concepts with audiences of varying experience
  • Deliver sustainable solutions using AI/ML with client-approved base models

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer
  • Full-stack experience with an opinion, but willing to defer to the team
  • Experience leading a full-stack development team, including DevOps and QA
  • Experience working with generative AI platforms, such as Google Vertex
  • A strong understanding of the AI/ML space and drive to deliver solutions in rapidly evolving technologies

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with React and GraphQL
  • Experience working in an agency and/or creative and/or technical consultancy environment
  • Experience working within and debugging Jupyter Notebooks
