Process Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our team at Celanese. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving environmental performance, and ensuring production quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve production capacity, quality, and environmental performance, and develop and implement projects to achieve these goals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the support team and operations to monitor production units, troubleshoot process issues, and communicate process engineering activities to stakeholders.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of process engineering activities, including updates to P&IDs, process safety documentation, and equipment files.
- Management of Change: Participate in the Management of Change process as an operations representative.
- Project Support: Provide support for project installations and ensure smooth transition to production.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Registration: Must be registered with APEGA.
- Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to handle multiple simultaneous assignments, effective communication skills, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-9 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledgeable and experienced in work processes, policies, and procedures, PHA, MOC, Root cause analysis (RCA), and EHS processes.
- Software and Tools: Experience with ASPEN HYSYS and statistics, Six Sigma methodology, or data analysis.
