Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Cora Breakfast and Lunch. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Maintain high-quality standards in food preparation and presentation, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and direct staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to provide excellent customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our food service department.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week.
