Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Pizza Unlimited. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Develop and implement work schedules to ensure efficient operations and meet customer demand.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
