About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Clayton Park Tailor Shop and Dry Cleaners. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Payroll Preparation: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances and other statistical reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in bookkeeping software.
