At CANADA INC., we are seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including operating industrial vacuum cleaners, making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contacting tradespersons for major repairs. You will also be responsible for advertising vacancies, contacting contractors for repairs and maintenance, and performing minor repairs on appliances. Additionally, you will be required to perform safety and security checks, supervise other workers, move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week, and the work language is English. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role. You will be required to work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, and work in a physically demanding environment.
