About the Role:

Toromont Cat is seeking a skilled Rental Accounts Collector to join our team. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable of our rental business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and investigate late payments to identify root causes and develop strategies for collection.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans.
  • Update rental agreements and control PO due dates to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Process cycle invoices through customer portals and manage re-rent units.
  • Collaborate with the credit team to resolve complex account issues.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or finance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
  • Bilingual French and English language skills (an asset).
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, including Word and Excel, and experience with DBS/SAP systems (an asset).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
