Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Education Assistant to join our team at Kumon - Brandon. As an Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities- Education Support: Assist students individually or in small groups with assignments and reinforce learning and retention concepts under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
- Classroom Management: Monitor students during recess and lunch hour, and assist with integration into the classroom and school setting.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with classroom inventory, monitor and report student progress to the classroom teacher, and assist with the operation of projectors, tape recorders, and other audio-visual or electronic equipment.
- Special Needs Support: Assist students with special needs using techniques such as sign language, braille, and remedial programs.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of communication.
- 40 hours per week.
