Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team at McDonald's Canada. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and ensure that food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant training or certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity in a busy restaurant setting.
