About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and innovative Teacher on Call for the Senior School at York House School. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide an exceptional 21st Century learning environment for our girls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a wide range of subjects, including Math, Social Studies, English, Science, Languages (French/Spanish), Physical Education, Art, and Drama
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and successful school year
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education degree
  • British Columbia Teachers certification or equivalent
  • Familiarity with new BC Curriculum is an asset
  • Secondary school qualifications
  • Minimum of one year Secondary teaching experience preferred
  • Independent School experience is an asset
