About the Role

The Engineering Supervisor - Manufacturing and Tooling is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and packaging engineering within the engineering department. This role requires a strong technical background, with a proven track record in process design, tooling, and project management.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and packaging engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate feedback into design and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain process layouts to ensure safety zoning and minimize downtime.
  • Coach and lead engineers to achieve departmental KPIs and support team collaboration.
  • Participate in departmental manpower planning and recruiting.
  • Support and foster a continuous improvement culture by engaging in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in mechanical, industrial, design, or automotive engineering.
  • 8+ years' experience in manufacturing engineering, project management, or tool design in the area of chassis and/or body components and assemblies.
  • Basic knowledge in Requirements & Configuration tools.
  • AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and PackAssist skills are an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of designing processes, tooling design for assembly and stamping dies, capital procurement, safety standards, and engineering analysis.
