Job Title: Field Service Coordinator

At GFL Environmental, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Field Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Field Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our field services, including employee selection, planning, organizing, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure health and safety are the top priority by complying with and supporting all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Receive and process incoming job requests from clients and GFL personnel.
  • Obtain necessary information to organize job servicing to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Maintain all forms of communication with GFL personnel to respond to service and equipment problems.
  • Determine types and quantities of material and equipment needed from appropriate resources.
  • Select appropriate personnel to operate equipment professionally.
  • Coordinate with the operations manager to schedule employee vacation and vacation coverage.
  • Coordinate crews and complete journey management of day-to-day work scopes.
  • Communicate regularly with the GFL Operations Manager to ensure job priorities are clear and job quality is acceptable.
  • Effectively organize on short notice, frequent changes in service jobs pending or in progress.
  • Delegate tasks and clearly communicate expectations, outcomes, and deadlines.
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward the company and its customers.
