Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team in Fredericton. As a key member of our operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the site, ensuring the efficiency and quality of operations, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase ferrous and non-ferrous materials to optimize site operations.
  • Manage, organize, and plan daily activities to ensure efficient and quality operations.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the team to achieve performance goals.
  • Monitor staff performance and report results to management.
  • Prioritize, analyze performance gaps, and identify business opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Write reports for management and work towards achieving budgetary financial results.
  • Control inventory and quality to ensure site operations meet company standards.
  • Promote and manage a customer-oriented team to provide excellent service to clients.
  • Develop and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and policies to enhance site operations.
  • Enforce and maintain health and safety regulations and ensure the physical security of the premises.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the metal industry.
  • Strong execution and decision-making skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, or motivational skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
