Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced educator to join our team as a French Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher at École St. Patrick High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French language arts and social studies to students in a French immersion setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach French language arts and social studies to students in grades 9-12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Valid teaching certification in the Northwest Territories
  • Fluency in both French and English
