Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our clients and staff
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they are following Horizon North Food Safety protocols
  • Conduct inventory and manage kitchen resources to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
  • Ensure all food is prepared using FOODSAFE and HACCP methods
  • Lead by example and maintain a positive and professional attitude in the kitchen

Requirements

  • Journeyperson or interprovincial Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid Advanced Food Safety certificate
  • At least 10 years' experience in the hospitality/food service industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
