About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at SHAD FLOORING. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the installation of resilient and hardwood flooring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, including vinyl and other materials.
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, restoring them to their original condition.
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture, meeting the highest standards of quality.
Work Environment

As a Flooring Specialist, you will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial settings. You will be required to work in confined spaces and be physically demanding, with the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the flooring industry.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and possess hand-eye coordination.
  • Attention to detail and a team player mentality.
