Merchandise Department Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Department Lead to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of sales workers.

Responsibilities- Team Management: Assign sales workers to duties, establish work schedules, and supervise and coordinate activities of workers.
- Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient storage.
- Merchandise Procurement: Order merchandise, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Sales Performance: Sell merchandise, achieve sales targets, and prepare reports on sales volumes.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Languages: English.
Competitive salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
