Job Title: Construction Supervisor

Thiara Construction and Logistics is seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to oversee our construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of supervising teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills to complete tasks.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to support our company's diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Setting:
  • Various locations.
Work Term:
  • Permanent.
Hours:
  • 30 hours per week.
