About the Job

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week with excellent benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning meats to prepare for processing or cutting, cutting carcasses, sides, and quarters, cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat, wrapping and packaging prepared meats, removing bones from meat, weighing meats for sale, cutting poultry into parts, pricing meat products, grinding meats, making special sausages, slicing cooked meats, preparing special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, shaping, lacing, and tying roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood, and preparing special orders.

The ideal candidate should have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in this field and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organisation, reliability, and teamwork abilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Diversity and cross-cultural training certifications
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
