**Your Future**:

- Reporting to the QA Manager, you will work closely with the plant/QA teams to develop and implement quality, food safety and plant regulatory programs
- Lead the internal audit process (GMP, PP and HACCP) to ensure best quality practices are maintained within the operations
- Conduct internal plant audits to support an audit ready GFSI facility
- Respond to consumer quality complaints
- Identify quality and food safety non-conforming trends, identify root causes and support corrective actions
- Lead the employee training program on GMP, quality, security and food safety
- Provide leadership, coaching and education as it relates to the development of our food safety culture
- Provide quality services to all external departments
- Coordinate ingredient specifications with suppliers
- Other quality and food safety projects as required

**Your Strengths**:

- A university degree or college diploma in Science with at least 3 years’ experience in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of quality and food safety
- Working knowledge of the Canadian meat regulations is preferred
- Strong analytical skills in MS Excel with the ability to multi-task; experience working with SAP or similar systems are considered an asset
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
- Ability to make informed decisions in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment
- Can work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be comfortable working with gravy mixes containing meat flavorings
