About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will oversee all aspects of the prequalification process to ensure that subcontractors have the necessary experience and financial capabilities to successfully perform work on our projects. This involves completing risk assessments to identify potential risks and developing effective subcontractor management plans to mitigate those risks.

You will also assist in managing our subcontractor default insurance program, including placing and administering project-specific policy placements and supporting with gathering, analysis, and preparation of annual renewal submission packages.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. If you have a passion for process improvement and quality control, this could be the ideal opportunity for you to drive risk management best practices across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete subcontractor risk assessments to ensure compliance standards are met
  • Develop and maintain sound risk management policies and procedures
  • Manage and administer our subcontractor default insurance program
  • Lead training sessions with operations stakeholder groups
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in risk management, credit management, accounting, finance, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in risk management, surety underwriting, construction, commercial management, or supply chain management
  • CRM professional designation an asset
  • Strong public speaking skills and experience training small and medium groups
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to all districts across Canada and the United States annually
What We Offer:

Graham offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the success of our organization.
