About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Leader to join our team in Canada. Reporting to the VP & General Manager of Canada, this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing sales strategies to expand our market share and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will lead our sales organization and work closely with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand our market share and drive revenue growth
- Work with our marketing team to develop strategies that support portfolio growth, income generation, and cross-functional project support
- Lead and motivate our sales team to deliver on sales targets
- Build a foundation for excellence in customer adoption through the use of cost-effective processes, metrics, and best practices
- Participate as part of our management team in the strategic growth of the business
- Ownership of the Business Partner process, including managing existing relationships, onboarding new partners, due diligence, and contractual agreements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- 25% travel may be required across Canada
What you need to be successful
- Extensive experience in building a sales organization with a proven track record of driving growth
- Provide collaborative plans and advisement as well as daily leadership and mentoring with team members
- B2B commercial experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Committed to continuous improvement in managing all aspects of the business
- Familiarity with the strategies and tactics needed to develop and grow new business opportunities
- Ability to provide ongoing formal and informal training to drive career development of direct reports
