Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in achieving its vision and mandate.
The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the operations of NALSC, supporting the Board of Directors, and ensuring the organization is working within its Vision and Mandate. This includes overseeing human and financial obligations, negotiating for program funding, advocating for justice services, and building relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Key qualifications include a post-secondary degree or diploma in law, business administration, finance, human resources, or related fields, as well as experience in the Ontario Legal system and knowledge of indigenous justice systems. Fluency in Ojibway, Oji-Cree, or Cree is an asset. The successful candidate will also have excellent leadership and communication skills.
Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a 6% pension matching. The position is full-time, with 35 hours per week.
