LUMBERJACKS RESTAURANT is seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess the ability to multitask with ease.

About the Role

This position involves serving customers at counters or buffet tables, preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our kitchen runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers promptly and efficiently, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to menu specifications, ensuring that all dishes are presented attractively and are of high quality.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed and reporting any discrepancies to management.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong multitasking abilities.
  • Experience: Will train on the job, but prior experience in food preparation and service an asset.
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant at LUMBERJACKS RESTAURANT, you can expect to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of colleagues. This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and working under pressure to meet customer demand.

Salary and Benefits
