Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at W.P.W. Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner to maintain a positive customer experience.
    • Prepare and submit reports on customer feedback and suggestions to improve service quality.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate staff.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced food service environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The physical demands of the job require standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
