Retail Business Manager

At Hazeldean Shop Easy Foods, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store.
About This OpportunityThis is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and be able to motivate and train sales staff to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Floor Supervision: Assign sales workers to duties, ensure that all sales floors are fully stocked with merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Hiring and Training: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet business needs, including recruiting new employees and providing on-the-job training.
- Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, authorize return of merchandise, and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Cash Handling and Reporting: Authorize payments by cheque, manage cash handling, and prepare daily sales reports.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent contact with customers and colleagues. They will also have opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development programs.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health and dental insurance, RRSP matching, and paid time off.
