Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a skilled Gas Plant Operator to join our team at the K3 facility. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our gas plant.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain gas plant equipment, including power boilers, amine gas treating, natural gas compression, and refrigeration systems.
- Monitor and control plant processes to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving process upsets.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Participate in commissioning and start-up activities, and develop procedures for safe and reliable plant operation.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to a collaborative team environment that values inclusion and diversity.
- Post-secondary education in the oil and gas industry, or equivalent experience.
- Preference will be given to those with 3rd Class Power Engineering and working towards 2nd Class or higher.
- Minimum 3 years of gas processing experience, with knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task and maintain a flexible attitude.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications, and valid Class 5 Driver's License.
This is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, as well as a driver's abstract check.
