About the Role:



We are seeking a highly skilled Home Lending Specialist to join our team at BMO. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to capitalize on their passion for real estate lending and sales.

Job Summary:



As a Home Lending Specialist, you will play a key role in building relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, and driving business growth through effective marketing and sales strategies. Your expertise in mortgage lending and ability to provide exceptional customer service will be essential in achieving success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute targeted marketing programs to drive business results

* Cultivate, build, and manage relationships with a referral network to generate new mortgage business

* Identify and pursue sales opportunities, referring to BMO colleagues as appropriate

* Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on home financing solutions

* Collaborate with branch teams to finalize mortgage documentation and refer customers with non-mortgage needs

Requirements:

* Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

* In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements

* Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills

* Expert knowledge of self-management and teamwork, personal lending, relationship sales and management

* Functional knowledge of personal banking, investments, trust services, business and commercial lending, and cash management

* Strong knowledge of the broader real estate industry and mortgage market

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $100,000, based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role. Salaries will vary based on these factors, and may include a commission structure.
