A fantastic opportunity exists for a seasoned financial professional to join COBS Bread's Finance Team and drive business growth by providing sound financial advice.

The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing the financial health, risk, and security of franchise bakeries, making recommendations and partnering with stakeholders to implement suitable commercial and financial solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to support the financial and commercial health of the franchise network.
  • Analyse, assess, and report on franchisee financial information, identifying ways to reduce costs, increase margins, and improve ROI.
  • Lead the franchisee network growth process by working with franchisees on their financial plans and business objectives.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new financial institutions that have partnered with COBS Bread.
  • Identify and assess the financial risks and improvement opportunities across the franchise network.
  • Support the Senior Manager, FP&A with reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis.

Requirements:

  • A post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, banking, and funding requirements in a franchise, retail, or multi-site environment.
  • Strong skills in MS Office, including Excel.
  • CA or CPA accreditation is an asset.
  • Able to problem-solve, identify, and manage risks.
