About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Sam Inns. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our motel, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage the motel's inventory, including requisitioning materials and supplies.
  • Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure the motel meets all health and safety standards, and maintain a clean and safe environment for guests.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
