King Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Small Animal Emergency Department or Critical Care ICU. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Triage incoming emergencies and assign triage status based on patient vitals and history.
- Obtain patient histories from pet owners and relay this information to the ER DVM.
- Provide nursing care and support to hospitalized patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia for after-hours ER surgeries.
- Process samples using in-house diagnostic lab equipment.
- Prepare and maintain detailed medical records.
- Communicate with pet owners to provide updates on their pet's condition.
